1. Pet Health & Disclosure
The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet is our top priority. All pets must be in good general health to receive grooming services. Pet owners are required to inform the salon of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, behavioural concerns, or special handling needs prior to the appointment. Pets showing signs of illness, contagious conditions, or parasites may be refused service or rescheduled.
2. Vaccination Requirements
All pets must be up to date on required vaccinations, including rabies, in accordance with local regulations. Proof of vaccination may be requested before or during the appointment. Pets with fleas or ticks may be treated at the owner’s expense or denied service depending on the severity of the infestation.
3.Appointment Scheduling & Punctuality
Appointments must be booked in advance. Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in shortened services or cancellation if the delay affects the grooming schedule.
4. Cancellations & No-Show Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide proper notice or repeated no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
5.Pet Behaviour & Handling
Our groomers are trained to work with pets calmly and professionally. However, if a pet displays aggressive, highly anxious, or unsafe behavior, the groomer reserves the right to stop or refuse the service to prevent injury. In such cases, the owner remains responsible for the service fee.
6.Grooming Risks & Liability
While every precaution is taken, grooming services involve inherent risks such as minor cuts, scratches, or skin irritation, especially for elderly, matted, or nervous pets. Owners acknowledge these risks and agree that the salon is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or unforeseen reactions.
7.Matting & Coat Condition
Severely matted coats may require shaving or additional handling for the pet’s comfort and health. Extra charges may apply for excessive matting. Owners understand that mat removal can cause temporary redness or irritation and accept the groomer’s professional judgement.
8.Pricing & Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services. Prices may vary based on breed, coat condition, behaviour, and time required. Any additional services requested during the grooming session will be added to the final bill.
9.Pet Pickup & Holding Time
Pets must be picked up promptly after grooming is completed. Extended stays may result in additional daycare or holding fees. Pets left beyond business hours without prior arrangement may incur extra charges.
10.Policy Acceptance & Updates
By booking and using our grooming services, pet owners confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all salon policies. The salon reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time to ensure safety and service quality.
